coal-generated power. 

There are now many suppliers who provide renewable source power. Switching is easy and we suggest you have a look.

Oil Solutions

Based in Kirkby Stephen, they collect all the waste cooking fats and oils at The Robin Hood Inn for recycling & disposal.

All of our waste oil is collected under ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) regulations and converted into bio fuel.

JAH Forestry

Planting is a great way to help sequester carbon emissions. Through photosynthesis trees absorb carbon dioxide to produce oxygen and wood. 

We support planting in named locations to offset our carbon footprint.

We have reduced the impact our business has on the environment, we use local suppliers where possible, herbs grown from our roof top garden and seasonal ingredients in our menus. The guys in the kitchen wash and recycle all plastics. And our new energy saving kitchen equipment has raised our EPG rating
